Spitfire MkIX

Australia’s newest Spitfire (VH-IXF / MH606) is up in the skies after sixty years, following a huge 11-year restoration by the team at Vintage Fighter Restorations (VFR). Don’t miss this Spitfire’s Merlin 70-series V12 roar into life and come watch as this iconinc historic aircraft takes to the skies.

CURTIS P-40 KITTYHAWK

With two shy of 12,000 P-40 Kittyhawk’s made during WWII, their strength was in the number built. 

The Kittyhawk was one of two variants operated by the RAF, and two P-40’s were the first aircraft valiantly taken up in response to the attack of Pearl Harbour.

Grumman TBM Avenger

Whether on the ground or in the air, this aircraft is sure to draw attention wherever it goes! The massive 1942 Grumman Avenger was a torpedo bomber developed initially for the United States Navy and features a unique folding wing arrangement for aircraft carrier operations.

North American T28 Trojan

The T-28 Trojan is a piston-engine military trainer that was used by the United States Air Force and Navy beginning in the 1950's. Besides being a trainer, the T-28 was employed as a counter insurgency aircraft, primarily during the Vietnam War.

CESSNA 02

Consisting of a twin-engine push-pull configuration, this bird is easy to spot with its twin-boom tail. She operated in Vietnam with 20th Tactical Air Support Squadron and was in service with the military until the late 1980s. The 02 featured in the movie Bat 21 with Gene Hackman and Danny Glover.

Cac Wirraway

The word "Wirraway" is an Aboriginal word meaning "challenge". The Wirraway was a training and general purpose military aircraft manufactured in Australia, built by the Commonwealth Aircraft Company between 1939 and 1946.

Wolf Pitts Pro

Paul Bennet's Wolf Pitts Pro is the highest performing aerobatic biplane in the world and displays high energy, engine screaming precision aerobatics. With an astonishing 400HP engine, this biplane s capable of some unbelievably wild manoeuvres that you are unlikely to see reproduced by any other aircraft.

SkyAces Formation Aerobatics

The SkyAces consists of 2 to 4 aircraft that perform an array of dazzling formation aerobatics in very close proximity. Not only do the SkyAces performances entail skilful formation loops and rolls but also dynamic head to head stunts, which are guaranteed to leave your spectators gasping in awe!

The pilots, Glenn Graham, Jesse Jury and Glenn Collins are led by freestyle champion and aerobatic legend Paul Bennet, in his one-of-a-kind Wolf Pitts Pro. All are qualified to perform the stunts all the way down to surface level, giving the spectators an incredible view of the display. 

The SkyAces are loved across Australia and are showcased at the biggest airshows the country has to offer including the Australian International Airshow and Wings Over Illawarra. They have also been an international hit - setting the standard for formation aerobatics across China and South Korea.

Yakolvlev Yak-52

The Yakolvlev Yak-52 is a Soviet primary training aircraft which first flew in 1976 and is powered by the distinct sounding M14P radial engine. The development of the aircraft incorporates a number of features to be found on the early postwar fighters.

L-39 Albatros

The aero L-39 Albatros is a high- performance jet trainer aircraft developed in Czechoslovakia. It was designed during the 1960s as a principal training aircraft. The Albatros is the most widely used jet trainer in the world.

EDGE 540

The Edge 540 is an Unlimited aerobatic monoplane powered by a 350hp Lycoming engine. Displayed by one of our unlimited aerobatic pilots, the display showcases the aircraft’s precision and performance that has made this design so popular at air races around the world.
